Good thing too. I went through the same process and the C230 was junk. It was smaller, had less room, slower, doesn't handle as well, etc. While I like the new C-class design and handling much better, the C350 with sport suspension is too bouncy (put a cup of coffee in the rear cup holders and it will spill like no tomorrow).

I'm not bashing MBZ for those that are wondering- just stating facts. After all, I would love to have an S550 or and SLK sitting in my garage.

i own both a mercedes and two bmws, i love them all! but i must say my BMW's are more fun

Maybe so, you are not the only person who's said this about the SLR. But even so, BMW has nothing that can compete with it, the SL65 Black, CLK63 Black, etc. BMW is too busy making terrible cars like the 5 series GT to be bothered. This especially sucks because if BMW wanted to they could make better cars than anything Mercedes offers. Look at the C63 vs. the M3 for example. The M3 wins every single comparison, every single track test, etc.

The M3 does not win in the drag race department, even with the M3 coupe against C63 sedan. AND, the 'get chicks to look over at my manly sounding engine' ( reference, only need to watch the first 10 seconds ) department.

Not like the M3 doesn't look good, but side by side, the C63 sticks out

But, the M3 does have much better handling, and gets around faster.

not gonna say anything about the SLR being 'the worst' super car

Hell, Jeremy clarkson loves it, and it's hard to get him to like a car.

I'm just being fair here, I mean look at my sig and my display pic.

the first car ever made was a benz, so you have to give them/him (karl benz) some credit for that invention, it is somewhat popular today.
