power folding exterior mirrors
Which package has the power folding mirrors? ZPP, or power seats option? bc I want to get it but it is not a standalone option.

Yes, it only comes in the Premium.
Another question though, do the mirrors fold automatically whenever you shut the car off or is it manual? If it is automatic, is there a toggle to turn it off? |

It is not automatic. If you push the little button next to the mirror mover button, it folds and unfolds the mirrors. If you leave them folded in, after driving about 15mph, they unfold automatically. Also, if you are outside your car and take the key out of the FOB, hold it into the lock position, the mirrors will fold in and the windows will go up.

And if you have Comfort Access, hold the button on either front door handle down (actually not a button, but a spot on the handles with ridges) until the mirrors begin to fold. Upon opening the car by either pressing the key fob button or placing your hand in either front door handle, the mirrors will unfold.

I was in a dealership this weekend looking at the new coupe. The Canadian brochure makes no mention at all of power folding mirrors. Maybe they are not available in all markets???

In the uk, if you have the powerfold mirror option you can fold the mirrors by keeping the "lock" button pressed for approx 3 seconds, they will fold up and any windows left open will also shut.
When you press the "unlock" button the mirrors will fold down as the car unlocks.

With CA, if you hold your finger on the ridges used to lock the car for about three seconds the mirrors will fold-in. If you keep your finger there for another second or two all of the windows and the sunroof will close [or open] as well. With Premium Package only [no CA] you must use the inside drivers door button or insert the metal key into the door lock and turn in order to fold the mirrors in. It was, IMHO stupid for BWM to not include a programming option to have the mirrors fold in every time you lock the doors. |

Convince BMW NA'a lawyers that no one will ever sue them because some idiot pinched his kids head while using the fob to close his windows rather than having to actually touch the car while raising the windows as we now have to do here in the U.S. |

See what I found at yahoo auto. it said "Dual Body Color Folding Power Adjustable Heated Exterior Rearview Mirrors " is standard feature. Does anyone have 328i knows if it is true?
