should I get a new steering wheel
I have the non-sport steering wheel and I want to get the M-sport steering wheel, I found it for $850 w everything ( airbag, multifuntion, cables etc..) but here is the thing I was on the BMW website today and I saw the new 335 sedan and it have paddle shifters should I wait for it to come out so I can get the steering wheel w paddle shifters? and retrofit it to my car ??

Yeh, I got the same situation. However I really doubt whether the paddle shifters can be put on our current E90. I though the auto gear in E92 is totally diff from E90!
BTW, $850 for M sport wheel included everything is very good price, where did you get the quote from? Ken Quote:

well I was thinking is a good deal $850 for the M steering wheel , that's what my dealer sell only the airbag for, and the pictures you can see that the steering wheel w paddle shifters use the same airbag and the same multifuntion buttons so maybe is just like changing 1 piece ( like the ZP owners do if they want to retofit the M steering wheel )

I think the 335i auto w/paddle has an different transmission so it can't be retrofitted to our E90. I have read this here before so I'm sure you can look it up.

I don't think paddle shift upgrade is plug and play. It may require extensive upgrade and possible programming by a dealer. It will cost you $$$.
Do it NOW!!! $850 for everything is a good deal. |

For the paddle shifters, I read (assuming you have Steptronic) that all you have to do is splice the paddle wires into the shifter. From what I remember, it didnt seem that hard.
