comfortable dress shoes?

Well i already have some dress shoes laying around but holy shit after spending a day with them my feet are on fire from all the pain, and my pinky toe went numb lol. Do any of you guys have any good advice for comfortable dress shoes to wear with suits? but without breaking the bank, i don't think i want to spend more then 80 bucks because I have a habbit of messing up shoes within a short period of time .
I would go look around but theres so many choices that I'd just get confused real quickly. My dad wears rockports but they don't seem like something i could wear with a fitted suit?

I had a pair of Cole Haan with Nike Air cushion that I've worn during my 3rd and 4th year medical school. They were pretty comfy for dress shoes but they are definitely more than 80 bucks a pair.

Well, I was going to say a Prada loafer hands down - they are one of the only dress shoes you can step into and feel soooo comfortable right off the bat. For me anyway. In my experience, Ferragamo's aren't very comfy either. It's mostly probably a break-in period too. Get them and wear them around the house for a while until they start to relax. Then wear them to work one day and see how it goes.

For 80 bucks, I wouldn't even know what to say.

Don't skimp on the shoes, bro. Especially if you have a nice suit. Plus, if you get a nice pair, you'll take better care of 'em.

Oh, just saw that second post of yours, so nevermind!

Try this:http://www.zappos.com/search/brand/1...opularity/asc/

A link to greatness. Looks like you can find some CH shoes on sale some as low as $125

If you want the "VIP" link to zappos.com just PM me and I'll send it to you. That way you get free OVERNIGHT shipping and free overnight back as well. If you order in the morning, they will definitely be there the next day. Good for us impatient folks! Good luck. (I'm a shoe whore, can you tell?)

nice dress shoes, under $80? Good luck. I like Alden, but they're about $350/pair. Most comfortable show next to a running show. Johnson and Murphy might have something for you. If you've spent the cash for a fitted suit (made to measure I assume), buy some good shoes. People can tell.

I'm a big fan of Cole Haan

Go to the outlet store and you'll be able to pick up a pair for around $80

Note - the last/design of the shoe is similar to Nike so buy if you like the fit of Nikes, which tend to run a little narrow

Comfortable dress shoes are nonexistent. The whole point of getting dressed up is to be uncomfortable, to show that you care enough that you're willing to spend all day sweating your nuts off and with massive blisters on various parts of your anatomy

I bought a pair of black Giorgio Brutini loafers from Zappos for like $58 shipped. They are comfortable and go well with jeans or a suit.

I've been rocking Johnson and Murphy's for about a year now. I'm a service writer, so I tend to be preety hard on my shoes walking through the shop and over oil/antifreeze/etc.

They tend to run in the $130 range, but I have found their durablity to be fairly good. I'm wearing a pair of their loafers and can say that the comfort is excellent, especially if you wind up walking 3 miles a day. I would highly recommend them!

Not too many choices in "Dress Shoe" category but Born shoes are legendary in the ultimate comfort sense:

I have two pairs. A fairly formal driver that you could get away with wearing in a suit, and a pair of formal loafers. Both comfortable, but the drivers win hand down.
