My 328i auto couldn't take my old G35 auto (stock vs stock). I still prefer the 328i, but just saying.

The maxima has 290 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque on a 3500lb curb weight. 0-60 in low 5's.

The 328i has 230hp and 200 lb-ft of torque on a 3400lb curb weight. 0-60 in low 6's.

You do the math...

The power to weight ratio seems to favor the Maxima. Stock 328i maual is = or <200hp at the wheels, BMS ads at most 10hp at wheels I believe making 210....add the ingen...+12 if the dynos are correct...making 222hp...Unless the MAxima loses like 30% of it's power getting to the wheels, then I would bet Maxima..given both drivers are equal...

so how do you guys race? Just hit the gas at the green light and accelerate? or do you tap up and down on ur manual gear box with no cluth?
