+1. Also, they probably didn't want to pay him what M1 did/does.

I have a ton of respect for Fedor, he got hit hard broke his nose and was gushing blood everywhere, and didnt seem to get frazzled a bit. After he survived the pounding he took while on his back I knew the fight would end in his favor. He is most definitely the best MMA fighter on the planet. I dont know if anyone can beat him, Lesnar...nope Velazquez....no chance, maybe Allistair Overeem would give him a good fight but good luck passing a drug test, the guy is gassed to the gills.

I don't follow MMA fighting to the max, but watch the occasional fight... but just curious that people think Fedor would beat Lesnar? Lesnar is so big and looks damn crazy...

As people have stated, there were too many regulations from UFC for Fedor to agree with. Basically he would've been sole property of UFC and wouldn't be able to compete anywhere else and have to fight only the fights UFC allowed him to. UFC is the dumb shit here, if they sign him but still let him have his freedom to promote other leagues, UFC would get a HUGE boost from his presence.

I think Lesnar would definitely give Fedor a run for his money and it would a great fight, but i'd still put my money on Fedor...his skills and experience definitely trumps any brute strength Lesnar has.

Did anyone see the prefight camps on Shotime? After that, I have soo much more respect for Fedor. I liked him a lot before, but after seeing that show on shotime, it just showed that he is a good person. He still lives in a small apartment with his wife and kid in his home town. I mean most people with his fame and being called arguably the best MMA fighter in the world, would have a huge house in some upscale neighborhood.

Rogers was a cocky douche...the complete opposite of Fedor. On the show, all he talked about was how he was going to hurt and beat Fedor's face in. Never once gave him any respect. Fedor ftw!

yeah...he's like the warren buffet of mma. Top of the game, but still sticks to his ethics and roots. Doesn't gorge on the fame and keeps his lifestyle normal and simple.

Exactly, and thats why I respect and like him even more. A perfect example would be Floyd Mayweather Jr. Similar amounts of fame and notoriety, completely opposite types of people...

Yeah, it's funny. People are always trying find ways to criticize Fedor. He "looked Human, vulnerable, exposed, etc.." How come no one has beaten him?

To the poster who said Fedor is afraid to go to the UFC, you really don't know anything. He has fought the best and beat them. Shouldn't fighters go after him?
