Question 335i exhaust actuator mod

I know..I've searched the forum, but wanted a more definitive answer from some of you that have done this...

I pulled the plug out, tried it out--this does sound nicer..but after a day I plugged it back in, just being paranoid I guess...didnt want to "mess" anything up...so for those of you that have done this...am i risking anything?... id much rather have both exhausts running all the time, instead of just one at start up..anyways...please share experiences with this easy mod.

thanks

accept I dont know how to do the bb mod, or golf tee, or ball bearing--all the same I believe..but I'm not sure how to do it...and from what I've been told the actuator, and the golf tee mod essentially do the same thing, but the golf tee mod does not show any errors ...

Pull little black vacuum hose off muffler. Jam something in the hose (BB, golf tee, screw, your tongue), tuck it up into bumper. Done.
