I posted a quick reply a few hours ago and it didn't go through. My curve seems so much easier to use so I'm gng to send this back and get the eris unless somebody can talk me out of it. Don't really like the touch screen either.

Yes, you can watch porn. Also, try adjusting the screen sensitivity. That helped some of the ailments I was having with my keyboard.

It's because it's a Motorola. They can't integrate software into their phones for shit. It's always laggy, always buggy, and always unpredictable.

get the eris, its better imo. i switched from my iphone last week.

I've had 2 samsung phones prior to my droid, those were slow and buggy, I have not had a single issue with this phone. The keyboard...not so simple to used, and the touch screen keyboard is tough (but you get that with any phone). But there is nothing you can't do on this phone, and it is FAST. If you're having 'buggy" issues with it, I can assure you I haven't had 1 problem with my software.

i thought the same thing about motorola before i got the droid and to honest they really hit the mark with the droid. I think people really need to play with the phone before they make judgments about it. I've had 2 friends with iphone 3gs who said the droid is better...

Played with one for few hours.. wasn't too impressed. Feels just like my G1 without the track ball.

put me down for another love of the droid. there's not much to not love about it - blazing fast, only android phone that has 2.0, the screen (omg size and resolution), incredible free nav, not a single app that i need that i haven't found for free, and maybe the best part of it all is that it's not on a sucky network. gosh, AT&T is awful in chicago. i drop at least a few calls a week and in places where i do not get reception, all my TMO and VZW friends get full reception.

i'm getting rid of my iphone for it.

The m droid is much better but the speaker didn't work and the battery sucked. The people at the store kept picking their ears and the one that activated my phone was a fat white ho. I'm suing VZW

oh that sucks, but the battery gets about 2 days if your using it lightly but the iphone gets the same, smart phones drain the battery quickly anyhow.

I'm waiting for the OTA. I'm not sure why, but I'm so surprised at how impatient people are for this update. I mean holy crap, just relax for a minute.
