how much do i love my car?
I was really tired coming back from school today so i thought i would get some coffee to wake me up. Wrong mistake i forgot how stupid our cup holders are that i placed it there because it was to hot to drink, and next thing i knew every little bump coffee started to spill out. I had no choice but to place my hand over the little slit they have to drink and the whole 10min ride home my hand was literally getting burned from the crazy hot coffee.
I always read people parking there cars far away from others to avoid dents which i do also, but i never thought there would be a day that would be willing to be burnt numerous times for a stupid car. And when i told my girlfriend she asked if would do the say for her and there was a awkward pause and then she called me a asshole |

I bought the Starbucks hot drink cup that comes with a closed lip and use it everyday.

it was some random coffee shop in a rest stop area. I knew it was going to spill to because it happend to me before but i guess i just tired and didn't really think. and i would have held it like i usually do but i was exiting off the turnpike which requries a lot of turning. oh well all is good now i just wish bmw learned how to make cup holders that work instead of looking cool.

The only thing I'll drink in my car is water... I can't imagine the day I lose my mind and decide to get a full cup of open coffee in my car, I think I'd get an open cake before I do that.

I had that happen once. It was a frappuccino though and they didnt put the lid on all the way. So the syrup started coming out. I pulled over, turned my flashers on, took off my shirt and used that to wipe it up before it started dripping all over the seat. Close call!

You should've finished the coffee before you go inside your car. I won't let myself and/or my passengers to drink anything in the car that is not placed in a water tight container. Coffee and tea stay outside of the car period. Me too. No snack of any kind or any drink in my car unless it's in a tight container. Its a 'no-no' even for my wife. Now, I'm trying to educate my 9 month old daughter about 'stuff you cannot do in daddy's car'. Have to be pretty strict on it. |

Just order whatever coffee you drink in a cup one size too large, i.e. order a tall in a grande cup, or a grande in a vente cup, etc. That way there's plenty of extra room in your coffee, and it shouldn't spill over. Putting straws in it helps too.
