Does anyone know how to replace "Cover column B right"?
My trim seems to have some sort of defect, so i found the part on realoem -- it looks like part 7 "Cover column B right" (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...88&hg=51&fg=20)
Does anyone know how to take it off and replace it? Does it just pop out? What about the rubber molding on the bottom -- will that be an issue? Thanks. |

If your car is in warranty, wouldn't be better to have the dealer fix / repair and replace if necessary. If you tamper with it and break / damage any part of it, the dealer may not cover the part under warranty. my 0.02

thanks, but dealer says that the defect is cosmetic and could've been caused by bird poop or something (bullshit, i keep qd in the trunk for bird poop and i wouldve known if poop was sitting there), but for a $10 part, i'm not going to argue and would rather just replace it myself -- if it's easy. anyone with a bentley manual care to help me out?
