Adjusting headlights
So i took my car into BMW today to get my headlights looked at. My beams are way to high and i tried to adjust them myself. The adjustment knob on my left headlight would not work so thats why i took it in. Anyways BMW says the knobs i was using are for left-right adjustment, and i was using the wrong ones.
I tried to find the knobs for up-down but cant seem to see them. Anyone know where the damn knob is? I feel pretty embarrassed that i have to ask this, but i dont see another knob. I attached pics of the knobs i thought was for up-down circled in red. LEFT RIGHT

Anyways I'm curious as well. My passenger light is higher than the drivers side, resulting in constant flashes by other drivers. Be nice to get a quick fix for this without going to the dealer.

I don't see how it wouldn't be. If you're constantly getting flashed by other drivers and it's a road hazzard, why is it your fault if the lights aren't functioning correctly? Find another dealer. Though I'm sure there's an easy fix to this.

If anything, the fact that you are lowered should make your headlights lower. This happened to me on all my old lowered cars. I would have to adjust them UP to get the lights back to normal.
I can't really help you with your question, though. (doh) I haven't even tried to adjust the headlights on this car, as they seem to be high enough for me. Do you have the owners manual? If so, it might say something in there.

ok so i went out and dinked around with the headlights. the knob circled in red is infact the height adjustment. the side to side adjustment knob is located in the fender under a small plastic cap.
usless tech's didnt even check my left headlight to make sure it will adjust accordingly. back to bmw i guess
