How much have you spent on your car?

Sooo here's the big question for you guys.. how much have you spent on your car so far? This question is more specificaly for those who spend money on their mods.

I have just recently learnt (again) how addicting it can be to spend money on my car. I thought i had learnt my lesson after dropping so much money on my E46 M3 but i guess not.

Today i bought a full mtech kit, jb3 w/dci, quad cf diffuser w/quad tips. Sometime this week ill hopefully be picking up a coilover set, a lip for my new front bumper, wheel spacers, and a Rix boost guage if theres any money left.

So total so far i think i've dropped almost $8,000 so far on mods alone including the other mods i have done so far.

Once i'm done i think i will be looking at around 12k!

How much have you spent and plan on spending by the time your done?

Nice! I see that you've done all performance mods! Your car will be a beast by 7k!

Mine have been a mix of exterior/suspension/performance. Only interior mods CF interior and M3 steering wheel.

i've passed 13k already with just about 1 year of ownership. by the time i'm done, i'll probably pass 25k. putting m3 stuff on your bimmer is pretty expensive.

It's alright. We won't tell her

I'm at roughly 5k right now. If I work myself through my mod list, I'll end up at 15k...

I had to promise her a week in disneyworld for me to get the 335. I have no idea what I would have to do when she finds the mods.......probably get married!

And id like to see pics of the 335 with 13k in mods. I didnt even know that mods could add up to that much if you dont factor in crazy expensive rims.

Yeah it adds up alright.. once you get into the custom stuff and the exterior mods it can get up there before you know it.

Having 320d lci one week and I´m planning to spend about 5000 euros to modding. It includes coilovers, M-sport aerodynamic package, wheels and tyres. it´s very expensive to change your car because you have to start modding at very beginning.

But it worth it

I'm roughly at $8k in almost 4 mos (Including Volk rims). Gonna be getting an exhaust and lsd shortly to pop in another $3k. Add a front lip and cf rear diffuser on top of that. Alot of what I have gotten has been used. I can't even bear to think about what it would be like new.

All coming from my business acct. so the wife thinks I'm bartering for most.

don't want to start counting... I promised after modding my Z4M, I would only change tires and suspension on the 335i. Within half a year I have in addition power pack, performance exhaust, VK oilcooler, FMIC, JB+ and am looking at some Recaro Sportster CS, catted downpipes, new rims, M3 bits and pieces... NOT GOOD
