Now I used to have a 330 convertible, which looks like this one.

My current 335i in Alpine White with M-Sport, still with 19" wheels just doesn't get anywhere near the looks.
Perhaps I should have gone with black / tan again?

my Alpine White e92 gets a pretty decent amount of stares. way more than my Jet Black e90. a blacked out modded bimmer is wicked and catches my eye in a split second. a black car makes me look, where a white keeps me staring

I have a black 08 E90 and a mate at work has the identical car as mine in white. Everyone comments that the cars look different and the black is much nicer. I don't think you can go past a clean black car but it does come at a price.

White was my first choice. Even though I didn't get white this time around, my next BMW will definitely be in white. BMW seems to do well with the white paint, especially with the E92 M3. That car in white with the carbon fiber roof can have me staring at it for hours. Sorry for all the fans who like jet black, but I think BMWs look the worst in black because it hides all the lines. Just my honest opinion.

black is the nicest color... when its clean... my E46 was jet black and my E92 is alpine white... they both turned heads but yeah it all depends if its clean or not lol

Agreed with this. It's a truly clean car that turns the heads, not necessarily the color (especially when comparing JB/SBM to AW).

If you are desperate for attention, go with AW. My JzB attracts very little attention - if people don't see the //M logo they just dismiss it as "another bimmer". I like it that way, since I am not an attention seeker, and never purchased my BMW to turn heads - I bought it to DRIVE it. If I wanted attention, I would have bought a 911.

I've owned TiAg, AW, Gray, and now, SBM BMWs.

My first choice this last time around was AW. Not b/c it turns head, BUT, b/c I wanted the ease of maintenance. That's why I also considered TiAg and SG B4 SBM. But in the end, SBM looks stunning when cleaned/detailed properly. The metallic crystals in the paint make SBM look really nice in the sunlight also. If maintenance wasn't and issue, I would've gone SBM even sooner.

Although I really like AW also, the metallic paint just looks stunning!

JzB E90 M3 is the ultimate sleeper, and would be the exact M3 I'd buy.

It doesn't matter, 3 Series BMWs blend in with the crowd, only an enthusiast will notice one and it doesn't matter what color it is.

Red and yellow are the only colors that I notice out of my peripheral vision. White/Black/Silver/Grey are so common that they are just background.

I've had an AW cabrio, a JB coupe and a Montego cabrio - out of the three the Montego obviously turns more heads because the color is just so scrumptious. I didn't buy it to turn heads, I just went absolutely ga ga over Montego! I don't think I would like my car half as much if it were any other color.

Eventhough my JB car was a coupe, it still turned heads more than the AW cabrio. But then again, I had the cabrio when I was 16-21 and was in my own little la la la world and didn't pay attention to much, lol.
