I'm getting too many PM's w/ people asking for production status and VPC arrival times ---

It makes it a lot easier for me to read them on the thread and then post large muti-respons posts, so again - if you'd like me to help out then please post in this new thread;

1) E90 or E92
2) Complete Options list (including Color Combo and leather or leatherette) - I search cars by options so the full list allows me to narrow it down
3) State where you will be taking delivery


**note - I can NOT see what ship you are on, I can only see its arrival date at the VPC or production completion date etc. etc.

My order is for a space gray 335i coupe with coral red interior and brushed aluminum interior. Options are sport package, automatic transmission, paddle shifters, active steering, BMW Assist with bluetooth technology, rear park distance control, premium package, cold weather package, comfort access, on-board navigation, heated seats, and power rear sunshade. I am taking delivery in Maryland.

328i4me : i'm not showing anything with only those options listed - I need to know EVERY option you ordered because nothing is coming up with what you posted so far... I have a couple 328's going to San Mateo, Santa Clara, Norwalk etc. but no "San Jose" - maybe if you can tell me the dealer name I can narrow it down from that, either way I need complete options list

NELPHUS, no one including BMW NA can tell me why cars that have been sitting at port still sit there as other cars with later production dates go ahead. Can you shed some light on that? Below was the e-mail I got:
Thank you for contacting BMW of North America, LLC regarding your 2007 335Ci. I am sorry to hear of your concern regarding the arrival of your vehicle.

There is no set amount of time a vehicle will sit at the port of exit. Generally, it can take up to a few weeks to actually board a ship, and it takes roughly four weeks to reach the West coast. This does not include travel time to your dealer or the vehicle preparation time performed by the dealer.

I suggest contacting your client advisor for additional information regarding the status of your order. They are in the best position to give additional detail on the timeline of an order placed through their BMW center.

If you have any further questions, please respond to this e-mail or contact the Customer Relations and Services Department at 1-800-831-1117, Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. Again, thank you for contacting BMW.
