Question Center Armrest on 2010 335i X-Drive

For those who have 2010 335 models, does your center armrest has driver side slide out piece as indicated on page 106 of the owner's manual ?

I dont recall seeing that on the 3-series loaners I was getting until now, but they were 09 models....

Any info/pics are appreciated !

Thank you!

Split armrest is a mod you have to install on 3 series.

The slide out armrest is availabe on European models, and hence the illustration. Its always been one piece on the USDM models, unless you install the two piece yourself.

I spotted the split armrest on a 2010 M3 on my dealer's lot.

For the US market, the regular 3 series models have the one piece armrest, but all M3 have the split armrest.
