HPFP is now my best friend

driving into my school's parking lot and the car just wouldnt give anymore. i really couldnt believe it was happening especially at 5000 miles. guess im part of the hpfp club

That sucks, sorry to hear that. Hope they fix it quick, I heard the replacement doesn't take very long thankfully.

My car just got her second HPFP today. Fortunately, they didn't wait for mine to fail. They did a pressure test when I noted a few long cranks and saw it was out of spec and replaced it. I was lucky in that regard. Hope you get yours back soon. Look at the bright side, now you'll have a new HPFP that will handle a tune without causing issues (for a while).

hahha yea that for awhile part is what scares me

had my 2008 e93 335i HPFP replaced 3 times:
~2,000 miles
~6,000 miles
~10,000 miles

BMW are repurchasing...looking at a possible ED.
Can't beat their customer service though!

I'm joining the club today, i just got back from the dealer. it died on me yesterday, today it drove fine to the dealer and then when they went to move it back to the garage it wouldn't move

.
got a rental and now waiting for the call to pick her up.
07 8k miles
