Mercedes SLS AMG
I was invited by AMG to look at the SLS before the opening of the LA Auto Show. I hit my head (like everybody else) getting out of the car. The event was catered w/ open bar so I got wasted and starting snapping these w/ a digital camera.

Don't like the back, too ordinary, interior does not seem like belong in a $250K car, for that money, R8 V10 please!!

Doh ho ho ho, we see a pic of the center console and call it shit. Do you think they let people sit in the cars with the nicest interior color combo? Have yo guys seen the interior in red or brown. It is simply amazing, and that goes for any Merc above the E class.

Personally, I like the car.
But IMO the center stack lacks in finish for such a pricey car. The SLR missed on the center too.

I don't get all the hype for this car. It's ugly.

Oh man that interior looks sooooo classic! I love it! It's a modern classic car. Reminds me a LOT of my friend's 1987 SL 560, on both the front end and the interior.

I signed up for that special AMG invite too, but we stopped first at the Seven Grand for a drink. Or two. After that detour it was too late to walk over to the event.
+1 with Gonzo on that center stack. Up close and with the harsh light in those pics, it looks a bit cheesy. Big question is I wonder how this car will sell. The original was (and still is) a true piece of art. |

To each their own. Choices are good and they will probably sell them.
But I think that is just BAD and looks like ASS. I honestly would not drive it. It's obviously their way of bringing back the look of the original but it does not work for me.

The original 300SL is an absolutely stunning design. The SLS looks like a cheap copy.

I wish I didn't have the "flash" on. My friend had an SLR so his pictures would be a lot better. And he wasn't drunk either. I thought the CL they had there was a much nicer car.
I am not too fond of the design myself but I'm not going to say "no" to an event like this. As for interiors... I got to sit in the Aston Martin DB9 and it didn't feel any different (or better).
