Try Phiten products. Lots of baseball players wear the rope necklaces and claim it helps aches and soreness. Probably just a marketing scheme but it may have some validity.

My mother brought home magnetic bed covers, seat covers, massagers etc. I felt nothing. However, I do remember after sleeping on the pads, I would wake up with an aching body... They even bought the magnetic bed that was heavy as hell. Just get some percosets and a tempurpedic matress... thats what I do. I have a bad back. The true tempur matress, cali king is THE best investment imo i've ever made for my person.

Most are pretty inexpensive, so give it a try. My wife and brother-in-law-in-law experienced some releif, but it was pretty transitory, so I almost put it down to placebo. Of course, they were the 2 for $10 from TJ, that might have made a difference

Best regards,
Wede

My mom got hooked on these magnetic bracelets in China. She got me one as a gift and wanted me to wear it for a long term soreness/ache I was experiencing. I thought I was a skeptic going in, but I felt the magnets did work for a brief period of time. For maybe 3 days, my aches were gone! Then after a week it was back again. So I think it was probably placebo. But still, I got 3 days relief out of it. I stopped wearing the magnets shortly after that. My injury has gotten better now though, but I'm sure it was time that healed me.

get a TENS unit, and utilize R.I.C.E or Rest Ice Compress Elevate. RICE can be used for a lot of type of joint/muscle pain. The TENS unit works wonders, ask your doc about it. You can buy them for a relatively cheap price, in the neighborhood of 60-100 bucks for a portable one. You will find TENS units in use by almost every single physical therapist around. I'm 24 and I have arthritis in my spine, and I get horrible muscle spasms in my back as well, and I have ulnar neuropathy in my left arm; utilizing the methods above works like a charm to alleviate pain and discomfort. Also, use heat as well. I usually ice for 15-20 minutes then use a heat pad for about 30 minutes.

The pain you described sounds much like ulnar neuropathy, but I'm not doctor. Its just a condition in which the ulnar nerve is compressed, and can cause pain in the elbow, wrist, and hand/fingers. If you ever get a tingling or "pins and needles" sensation along with the pain, I would venture to say you have some sort of neuropathy, likely ulnar neuropathy.

The methods I listed above work very well for joint/muscle pain, but you should really get in and see your primary care physician so you at least know what you're dealing with.

Go to any golf (not Volkswagen) store and ask them... I suffered for a while with my left hand as I am an avid golfer... since I have been wearing one all is good.
The brand I have is Sabona

The Phiten necklace helps my neck with occassional stiffness and headaches. It may be placebo, but for $25.00 or so, I don't care
