Barnes & Noble Nook

I hope I don't get bashed for being too much of a nerd, but anyone checked out one of these new e-readers from Barnes & Noble? I was ready to pull the trigger on a Kindle about 3 months ago until I heard this was coming out.

I travel quite a bit for work and also look forward to having the newspaper delivered automatically every morning. But after reading some of the reviews of the Nook (slow, LCD screen too bright, too thick/heavy) I'm not sure if I should get a Kindle or try out the Nook.

Does anyone here want or have a Kindle/Nook, etc?
