Let me add on, he tells me that I am getting this deal only because I have bought other BMW's from him many times or atleast my family has from his dealership so thats why I am getting a good rate.

I bought my 335i for $500 over invoice. So I would try to hammer him a little more on the price.

Wow, the 328i is priced high. I walked out the door with my '06 330i for $43,250. That price included, step, premium, sport, cold weather, and comfort access.

great deal? no.

is it fair and a reasonable price? sure.

not sure how the E92's doing, but when I purchased my E90 it seemed that $500-750 over invoice was a good deal. $750-1000 over is fair. anything over $1000 over invoice is nothing to brag about. I'd contact some other dealers; throw out the price of $750 over invoice, +ttl, and see if they bite.

I would do the math. Start with the involce/wholesale pricing available on this list. See exactly what the invoice price for your car with options is. Then go to your CA and negotiate the amount over invoice. 1,000 over invoice on an E92 is a very good deal.

if you really got that price its crazy. Up where I am in NJ you will be lucky to get 1000 off sticker. I have already sold 2 of them at list price.

Here is the invoice/wholesale price for your 328I with all options.
According to this official invoice document from this forum http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25892

Base 328I $29,810
Premium $2,865
Sport $1,455
Comfort $455
Park Dist $320
Auto $1,210
Handling $695

Total Price is $36,810 (you can add additional $1000-1500, then it will cost you under $40,000). I hope this help you decide. Good luck.

yea that seems lieka a good deal, from aorund the boards 2,300 off msrp on an e92 and 1k over invoice seems comparable to the best deals ive seen aroudn for an e92 atleast, and im in texas, most dealerships well pretty much majority of em arent too willing to knock off that much on the new coupes these days, soudns good to me

Looks like a 328 to me.

but he does say coupe as well so we need a clarification as to what it is.

Does bmw still uses 'i' for sedan and 'ci' for coupe? I guess that is where i get into trouble.

Ok, thanks. did not realized that was happening and it will caused alot of confusion. I guess they are trying to cut down cost by only making one emblem .
