Cr*ppy lease rate on a 328xi, need help!

I need some help...I've ordered a 328xi at a great price, HOWEVER, the finance manager just quoted me a MF of .00325 through BMW.

Any advice of where I should go from here? Negotiate? Dump the deal? Is this MF what I should expect everywhere?

I can get financing from my credit union at 5.95% on a 5 yr, wondering if I just do that...

thanks

That rate factor is marked up by .0004, which is allowed by dealerships. You should request the base rate of .00285, which equates to an interest rate of 6.8%. Why would you order a car without knowing the economics beforehand?

Wasn't sure how I was going to purchase, cash, finance, or lease at the time.

I can still walk away so I still have leverage. Financing was not agreed upon, we just negotiated the sale price.

a rate of .00285 would save $30 a month, over 3 years - $1080...
