AE Install

Hey guys, I just moved here from San Diego and am looking for someone that can put my Lux 5's back in. I had to pull them out for warranty work right before the move and didn't get the chance to have them reinstalled. I've searched for and called several shops in NoVa but only 2 are even willing to look at the car before deciding. I'm going to both of those on Wednesday. If they fall through is there anyone willing and able to help? Unfortunately I'm pressed for time, going back to school in Newport News, VA on Sunday the 10th. I'm in Fairfax Station, VA and willing to make a decent drive. Thanks.

it is really easy to do, but this time of year you just need a warm place to work.

i wouldnt have removed LUX for warranty work, just leave it in the next time (unless something's wrong with the headlights of course).

hopefully you'll find someone quick

Hey, check out Ivan at IMA Motorsport. He is a good guy and well known to the BMW CCA crowd as a Porsche, M-B, BMW and Corvette shop. He installed my Quaife diff and I highly recommend him for most any kind of work who is close by in Chantilly, VA, next door to Moore Cadillac/Hummer off Rte 50 west.

Ivan is the real deal.

I don't know if you need a expert engine builder to install some headlights but Ivan is the real deal nonetheless. He knows more than most other shops around area put together... even if some of the other ones are touted on here as being capable b/c they have a car show and some overpriced Dinan inventory they don't know how to properly install and some fancy Porsches that daddy bought them..... don't believe the hype, it sin't fair to real people with real knowledge and skills like Ivan

Glad to see Ivan's name out and happy some people know a real shop when they see one.... and IMA certainly is one

Alright so I held off on calling Ivan because I had already scheduled somewhere else but that just fell through so I called him up. Wasn't real sure what I meant with angel eyes but he said they should be able to take care of it. I have an appointment tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll finally get them in.

+1 for Ivan at IMA Motorsport; he helped me install my aFe intake. I will taking my Bimmer there for future service needs and mods.
