PCD: I sure hope it is worth it.

I thought waiting for the car to ship across the sea was hard but knowing that some of you who were on the African Highway have their cars is worse. I am trying to be patient while my Nov 2 PCD date moves slowly closer.

Anyone out there want to reassure me that the wait is worth it?

To rub salt in the wound, I need to drive up to Raleigh and back this weekend and will drive right past the my car twice.

If it wasnt such a far drive I would be doing PCD. Getting to drive the same car your getting as hard as you can without worrying about it? Cant beat that.

It's absolutely worth it ! Donnie Isley is a very professional driver and if he's leading your group, be sure and ask him for a hot lap in an M5,one of the best thrill rides you'll have.The Hotel is really nice and the whole day was great.We couldn't see the Manufacturing,since the X5 was still under wraps this past May when I went,but maybe it will be open ? The Museum was nice, but a little on the small side...great trip,so have fun and take pictures and drive carefully !

PCD is definately worth it, even with the extra 2 week wait. I remember the wait was a killer. You can read my write up on PCD (link below), but that may just be more salt in the wound.......so read at your own risk

My wife said the same thing. We both had a great time. Donnie is a heck of a nice guy, too. Your wait will be well worth it!

Well, I can definitely say now that it was worth it. Donnie was a wonderful instructor and everyone there went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable experience.
