PBX/LET Tune
I'm reading a lot of good reviews about the PBX and is thinking about getting it. However, I currently have the LET tune in my 328i e92. Has anyone tried both? If so, do they prefer one over the other?
Would there be any problems if I run both the LET tune and the PBX? |

I have the same problem if you install a pbx over a let it will possibly just cancel out your let tune meaning you wasted money.
I believe the pbx has more features so it would be better for me, with that said i would flash your ecu back to stock before adding a pbx and take your loss. |

Personaly, I think the PBX is a MUST have mod for anyone who is serious about modding a 328. I had it since Sunday (running Map 3) and I could not live without it at this point. My intake and exhaust definetly help out but the PBX is like the main piece of the puzzle.

they wouldn't exactly cancel each other out, but since they both increase fuel, you would run way too rich with both tunes which would hurt performance (pbx just increases whatever the computer is doing by a certain percent).
But you could run the pbx with the throttle map only (map 4, 5, or 6), and leave your LET tune as is. And I think the throttle mapping does more for the "feel" of the car than the actual tune does. |

Is there a significant gain felt with Map 3 (tune) compared to Map 6 with (no tune)? I'm not talking about throwing your head back gain, but something that can be felt night and day. Sometimes I feel that my LET tune has disappeared. For some reason, it doesn't feel like it did the first month or so with the tune... Maybe its all in my head. Sounds like I need to go on a dyno. |

Hi Mike,
Thats right, I'll be coming to see you about the PBX once I get the ECU flash. Unfortunately, as I was telling you, I'm still not back in TO...won't be till around the end of the month...so please keep 1 for me. I'll contact you the minute I get back to TO. Talk to you soon. |

I would not run with both unless of course you just use the throttle maps. Both tunes together would be extremely lean if indeed they do double up.. I look forward to your customers a/f reading Mike.

same question, i was wondering if there's a big difference with map 3 and map 6? I believe it feels the same but map 3 consume more gas while map 6 doesn't. not sure if my info is correct though...
