What, no one knows? It's a sticker that lets a trooper know that you in some way either: support (money) the police or are somehow related (work for/has a friend who is, etc.) to the police.
Hypothetically, it could get you out of a ticket if the trooper is in a good mood.

I have a small blue ribbon that says "support law enforcement" but I don't wanna stick it on my car for fear of it being keyed. Same thing with a DARE plate...I'm sure punk bastards would key me.

lol Oh and they changed our DARE plate from black to regular dumb PA colors..99% of people buy that plate just because of the color. Ahh well...I'll buy one anyway, and a buffer and some polish.

Do you think that you are going to get fewer tickets with it?

Yeah. Thats why I think BMW + FOP sticker = please key my car. It's unfortunate because I'm an FOP member.

Well, I'm not so much making a statement in support of DARE per se, but rather a statement in support of abstinence from drug use.

I'd like to think most people respect police officers in general, they should be there when you need them someday. |

To OP: It looks like where you have it is probably the best. Keep it out of your line of sight when driving!

usually this is where everone puts theirs (thats where mine is) but i think if you put it on the rear window than they would see it better when walking up to your car.
