Ski rack

Hi,
i need help finding a ski rack for my '07 335i.

Do i need to buy a bmw base and ski/board carrier separately?

I was in the same situation. I went with the BMW Feet/Bar's and got some adapters for my Yakima rack. If you search there are also some thule attachments that will work with the factory bars. The Thule and Yakima ski/snowboard carriers look superior to that BMW one.

I got the BMW base rack with the yakima fat cat ski attachment. I did not need any adapters or fit kits, it worked perfectly out of the box.
