I DID IT!! Ordered a 335is !!!!!

After 5 years I am proud to say that I will soon be back in a BMW. Well, kind of soon I guess.

Today I walked into my dealer and put down an order on an Alpine White on Coral Red 2011 335is 6MT. (yeh yeh AW/CR I know I know)

Options Include:
-225M 19's
-Convenience Package
-Cold Weather Package
-Premium Package
-Navigation
-Smartphone Integration
-IPod Integration
-Active Steering
-Harman Kardon Surround Sound System

The shitty part?? I have to wait until probably June to take delivery. Salesman said I was the first one to order one as they got the order sheets in a couple weeks ago, and mine should be first off the boat to BMW Darien in CT. He claimed they start building in May (someone can confirm, as I heard they were building Vert's before Coupes and don't remember the build dates).

My previous BMW? A used 00' Silver 323ci that I got with 70k and ran her all the way up to 110k-- I loved that car, and I am thrilled to be back in a bimmer. My current car is an 06 WRX Limited (see pics below)

I opted for the 335is over the M3 for personal reasons, many of them don't matter. I certainly won't have any regrets I am sure. If I do, my dad has a couple M's I can use to scratch the itch.

I am interested in mods straight off the bat, thinking M3 skirts and ACS roof spoiler. If you guys have any ideas let me know, as I have no idea how this car is going to feel and perform when I take delivery.

Here are some pictures of my current car, the WRX. She is stage 2 pro-tuned making 350hp/375tq. She has about 12 different suspension mods and is SCARY fast in the twisties. I really have grown to love this car, and I have had ZERO issues with it, nothing whatsoever.

Congrats!! I am sure the 335is is going to be HOT, and the AW with the CR interior.....that is one sexy ride. Be sure to take pic's when you get it. Sick STI too.

Are you talking about the WRX? Yes, sunroof, leather, heated seats and mirrors are part of the limited package.

Shit I hope the 335is has the sunroof stock, I didn't see the option LOL.

Bud, I pulled up the parking brake SOOO hard when I did that. When I exited the car I was shaking a little bit. LOL it was worth it though, the car looks like a beast at a watering hole.

did you regret going to to subaru from bmw?
i am asking because i may be switching to an evo soon and am wondering if it is easy and worth doing when the budget is low

Congratulations, it won't be long before we'll see these is show up on the board. I just saw another thread of a guy in long island announcing he's just ordered one too.

This car is def gonna be on of my list for a CPO 2 years from now. I just hope I'd be able to find one unmodded.
