Performance Center Delivery Question

If you lease at what point does the lease start? When you arrive in Spartanburg to pick the car up or @ some time (week or two) before?

I think it starts slightly before or when your car is ready to take delivery. But apparently, BMW takes care of the payment for the month that your car is crossing the pond.

I had to sign and begin paying on my BMW FS lease about 2 weeks before my Performance Center Delivery. From what I've read on this forum and bimmerfest.com, this is typical. Even with this, and the associated 2 week longer wait to pick up the car (vs. dealer delivery), Performance Center Delivery is very much worth it!

This is correct, the paperwork needs to be completed in order for the PDC to release the car,if you do an ED, paperwork needs to be completed about 30 days before, but if you're leasing ,BMW will make the 2nd months lease payment since they know your car won't be coming back for about 6 weeks........
