Forum issues? Can't post anything

NOTE: As a test I am trying to post this from a different IP address

for some reason i am unable to post anything in Photo/Video forum. Can't reply to anything either.

Even though i haven't posted anything during the past few hours, I get this:

"This forum requires that you wait 35 seconds between posts. Please try again in XXX seconds."

I get the same result with

Chrome
Chromium
Safari
Firefox

anyone else experiencing this?

yeah posts are not coming up and when they do they're of multiple posts. I can't even delete anything. It would show as "processing" and takes forever to even refresh...

Actually... probability of a DOS attack is less likely than a RAID5 drive failure on the db server. Performance tanks just like we experienced here.

However, if this is true,which we probably will never find out, i want to ask the admin why the hell is the DB server running on top of RAID5?
