got smoked

I have a BMW 335is 09 coupe stock automatic... last night I got smoked by a Chevy Camaro.
I was stopping at red light then a Camaro pulled up right next to me... I knew right away he wanted to race since it was like 2h30 in the morning and the street was pretty much empty... then came green light... I slammed on the gas pedal as fast as I could and he still beat me by at least 2 car lengths... I tried again at the next light but he was always ahead of me from start to finish... I know I dont have a stick shift but damn that car is fast!!!!!!!!

Most likely an SS if new or a Z28 if it was the old body style. Back when my car was stock I also got pulled on by a Z28 with headers/exhaust and another person in the passenger seat! I felt pretty weak. Don't underestimate American Muscle, they are quick! Since then, after mods, I have raced both a new SS and old Z28 to victory. Still very impressive cars though!
