This homeless guy spit on my car...
So I live in downtown LA and there are homeless people everywhere asking for change. Well yesterday I was pulling out of a parking spot in a supermarket and this homeless guy comes up in front of my door and asks for money. If you live in downtown LA you become desensitized pretty fast to this kinda thing. I get 2 or 3 homeless people begging for change a day and have long since learned to just ignore them.
Well I turn on my engine and begin to pull away and this guy just flips out and starts cussing me out. I think ok....whatever and just keep pulling out. Then he flips me off and spits on my car. A huge brown monster wad of spit. It hits my hood and I see red I hit the brakes and start yelling/trying to get out of my car to confront him. My friend in the passenger seat wouldn't let me out and the guy ran away from the area pretty fast. I'm not sure what I would have done if my friend had let me out of the car but I was ready to crack someones head open. Damn. That guy pissed me offfff. Ugh just wanted to vent.

It sucks... but it sucks more to be homeless.

I had an incident a while back on Watts St. approaching the Holland Tunnel where I refused to give a squeegee man any money. He put a forgot 14" red scratch on my 1/4. We got into a discussion at the office, $1 would have prevented it, but why should you have to pay for something you didn't want (dirty a** water making the windshield even worse). Confont him physically and maybe get stuck with a needle turning the situation into a greek tragedy....

Being homeless is no excuse for that sort of behavior, but he certainly is in a much worse position than you are. I'd be pissed too, but only until I got my car cleaned off.

That sucksss...I'm in Newark and deal with that kind of behavior a lot...it's worse when homeless people ask you for change and block entrances to buildings you need to enter...can't really avoid confrontation...kinda reminds me of that South Park episode "Night of the Living Homeless"....change?! change?! loll

I think he is old school, I do think he was talking about guns, but maybe now-a-days it is more commonly called "carrying". IMHO, back in the seventies "packing" was short for "packing heat". "Packing heat" might not be understood today.
But "packing his bags" would probably be a better idea. Sounds like a bad area to have a nice car in. Lots of worse things can happen then someone spitting on your car.
