1 word.... Momentum.
Ever watch someone fall off a boat or lose their grip while wakeboarding/waterskiing? Or even better yet a speed boat on plane. They skip across the water like a smooth stone, barely breaking the surface of the water. Same concept here. As long as they keep their weight moving forward, gravity has less of an opportunity to push them through the surface of the water. Therefore, giving the appearance of walking (running) on water. Anyone out there care to provide a more educated approach? I am merely applying logic. |

that thing is awesome... it was also on.. "Earth" I think...?
It adapted special feet and learned to use it's tail as a rudder... how sweet is that? Those guys in the original video were showing off their shoes as being water repellent (an important attribute for the Lizard that, I believe, those dudes were attempting to emulate) |

I am telling you right now.. If you don't believe it get on a boat let them go full speed and jump off and see what happens... I promise you, as you skip across the water giving yourself an involuntary enema, plexiglass will never cross your mind.

anything will skim across water at the right speed, but they are saying bc they go at an "angle" is what makes it possible, they arent going fast enough to do that, and the guy at 1:27 FALLS BACKWARDS when trying to keep momentum going forward, its BS they are on plexi glass or a sunk boat dock...
