FUJITA intake E90 325

i just recently installed a Fujita intake on my E90, and noticed a very different power band, as it had lost a good amount of tourqe but gained in HP. and it sounds incredible. a good race for Driv3r's car he beat me once and i won the second time. he has a eisenmann exhaust, so im thinking that the intake made just as much HP as the exhaust does. just wondering if anyone else has tried this intake and what they think.

the fujita saga is an old one... most felt it robbed power more than anything else... though I think the sound is pretty good. Depends on what your after....

yea, well, the car seemed to have a Slight dead spot, and then after that it picked up like around 4.5K it really had a big rush of power...and when me and him raced, we both are just about on the same level as far as shifting. The result was just about a tie with both our cars......

How would that work? More speed in the higher revs = more air, and the fajita isn't a piece of shit?

PM hunter and you'll know what he is talking about. Hunter had the fujita intake installed and then dynoed his car. It actually showed a decrease in power, which is why he took it off and replaced his fujita intake with a CF one I believe.

the general concensus (sp?) has been that Fujita intake FOR THE e90 has been a piece of sh*t. Your opinion seems to be very different.

There's a lengthy thread on the fujita which basically lambasts it as cheaply made and power-robbing. I was just wondering if anyone had some technical insight as to how an intake could change the characteristics of the powerband.

hey scheerspeed:

FYI, the little "edit" button is your friend... instead of adding a new post every minute. It helps keep the threads shorter adn easier to read.

Glad you like the intake.

edit:
for example: should read "and easier"
