Dropped the E90 off at dealer, hilarity ensues...

So today I dropped my car off at United BMW in Roswell to get a new clutch, brakes, and some other warranty work. I pull up like I own the place because retards block the service interest and leave their cars there expecting the service guys to track them down, get their keys, and move their cars. So I go into the customer lounge and get called by my service advisor to see my E90 getting admired by everyone there (I'm not bragging its part of the story). So I glance down at the paper work and I notice that my car model is listed as an M3... ahh thats why people were starring. So blah blah the guy comments how much he likes my car. So I go to get my loaner and the lady is worried that the loaner isn't good enough for me, I am thinking wtf? do they think that I own the place, this is my first time at United, but I know that no one treats their customers that well. So I get a E92 335i ZSP w/ Paddles as a loaner brand spanking new LCI. She says sorry, but this is the best we have; I hope it is good enough for you. I say oh, thank you its fine. While I am leaving a guy says hey man nice M3! I look umm I don't have a M3. The loaner representative looks at me and I say I drive a 328i E90, not an M3... She goes ohh.

Really? A BMW dealership mistakes my E90 for an M3... lol the only exterior mod that I have are my Miro Type 111s.

Anyways the loaner is pretty nice, the automatic still sucks balls and feels like I'm driving a truck in D mode, the paddles are great, but still aren't anything special, they have their glitchy moments.

Now why did they think that I had an M3? Duh Montego/ Black w/ Miro 111s 6MT and race pipes knocks people senseless!

Also the mirrors are freaking gigantic, but the shadow trim looks amazing, it's different than the non-LCIs apparently.

Your car does look nice, and definitely stands out (in a good way) b/c of the contrast b/t the Montego and blacked-out rims. But M3!?!?!?!? Man, those people need to go back and study up on the cars that they are selling. Geez

I was shocked... like seriously BMW employees don't know what a M3 looks like? It's Atlanta too, there are tons of them around. Oh well, it only means that my mods are tasteful.

I'm going to put an M3 badge on my ride next time I go to the dealership so I can get an M3 loaner.

Dealer is doing the tint, because they do a 5/50,000 warranty on it and I know that it will get scratched from rolling down, my windows have sharp vertical lines in them.

man dont let the dealer do it, your windows wont scratch them and any respected shop will warranty your tint...and if for some reason a window does scrath the tint it will be cheaper to just replace that windows tint than buy it from the dealer

The dealer is United and they use an independent shop. It's only a little more than going to the shop itself, but the warranty is legit, if it's the cars fault they will fix it, if it's a drunk chicks fault, they will fix it.

Cheaper in the long run than just going to the shop.

Dude United is legit. Great dealer. They hooked me up for this service, because I am sitting at 49,600 miles. New clutch, new brakes, fluid change, etc... Way out of their required service.

Coming out of a 328 and you're saying that the 335 auto drives like a truck?

You missed a great opportunity to see why they charge 50g's for that car!

What a bunch of dummkopfs. Last thing I knew they read your key and bring up all the info. Do they issue loaners prior to writing up the service order? Tell them yes the car is good enough, so good you'll swap it even Steven.

Maybe I need to head down to Roswell. I just had service done at United Gwinnett and was underwhelmed by the whole experience.
