Who is your favorite movie character?
I don't believe this topic has been done before, but I could be wrong. Searching OT for similar threads, the closest I could find was one about movie superheroes. So the question as posed in the thread title remains, who are your favorite movie characters and why? There is no need to limit yourself to only one. If you wish to post several, please do.
Presently mine is Hannibal Lecter, due to his unique blend of charm, sophistication, intellect, perception, savagery, psychopathy, and his own strange interpretation of ethics. I find his character intriguing, and Anthony Hopkins does a fantastic job in the role IMO. Although his screen time in Silence of the Lambs is just over sixteen minutes according to wikipedia, he dominates the movie imo. |

Jason Bourne
The Bourne movies in all are great, and I know he's a pretty stereotypical action movie character, but you have to admit, those movies rock.

Ben Kingsley's "The Rabbi" from Lucky Number Slevin, I love his sense of humor.
FWIW, I Think Jason Bourne from the novels rather than the movies is the best character of all time. |

A few of mine:
Mr Burgundy, never gets boring nor the jokes stale, nuff said: National Treasure series, for some reason never gets old as there's the "possibility" that the plots could be real: Resident Evil, Fifth Element, Mila kicking ass = Hot: The original cast, unbeatable IMO: Indiana Jones, pic already posted above LOTR, never gets dull:
