Good movie, or just another movie in a long string of flops by Shyamalan?

I want to like it, but I have a feeling it has been over-hyped. I think I saw teaser trailers more than a year ago for it.

Really? Is this true? I knew the Last Air Bender is based on that cartoon Avatar.

I like the title the Last Air Bender though. It sounds mysterious.

I'm going to bet this movie will help Shyamalan's rep. It looks really cool based on the previews. I'm planning on seeing it opening weekend.

The question is whether he will bend to the financial pressure and leave all that film on the editor's floor so the kids can watch it.

It was supposed to be Avatar: the last air bender but since James Cameron took the name "avatar" already it's just "the last air bender now". I'm looking forward to the movie but I've hated all the M Night movies in the last like 5 years so I don't know. Maybe this one will be better? Maybe?

everything he has done since 6th sense has sucked, maybe one other good one back then i cant think off the top of my head...that one with everyone dieing out of nowhere was a waste of an hour and a half of my life

Personally, I'm going to see Winter's Bone, http://www.wintersbonemovie.com/, which looks pretty damn good but is only in limited release. Plus it's in my home state of Missouri

These have been a slow couple of weeks for movies, Toy Story 3 did well, as did both Karate Kid and A Team. Grown-Ups and Knight and Day are coming out this week, and both look alright. I heard Tom Cruise is pretty good as a crazy spy in K & D.

m knights only doing this because noone will greenlight his own crazy ideas for movies. hes trying for the 'im gonna make a big comeback with a kids movie and hopefully i can go back to making predictably bad twist movies'.

M. Night is crazy. I like his movies. I don't love them, but they aren't terrible.
