So I am driving home the other day when coming up behind me was sight that just blew me away amid all the thumping base it was kickin' out

What a sight it was.... I never realized the BMW did work with Honda in the early 90's!

Bad Blackberry pick, but it was the best I could do. Note the red circle around what was a shiny M badge with side grill on the faded fender of this Civic (no, not even an Si).

I threw up in my mouth a bit

Guys Guys,

Don't you get it! People like that do not do this so that they think they drive a BMW or they think they are cool. They don't even to this to piss off real BMW owners.

They do this because mutilating cars like that is cheap fun and it grabs people's attention. The $19.99 special on Walmart Plastic Wheel Spinners is a prime example of what I am talking about. Chances are those people have a really nice car and they have a beater like this to mutilate and drive to its grave.

Move on folks! Its really no point loosing time, sleep and nervous effort on such things.

Nah, Hyundai (Motor America)... basically reverse engineers whatever they can. I've seen competitors' cars get taken apart. Put it this way, look through all the parts in a Hyundai and you will see Mitsubishi, Denso, Aisen and Delphi compents. Mobis (Alabama) is a subsidiary of Hyundai. Hyundai Genesis, a rear wheel drive Mitsubishi 4G63?... mhmmm. That and if you look at the board of directors since 2005 mostly Mazda and Ford execs.

Correct for the most part, but most of the time the people who drive these cars are teenagers who got caught up in the fast and the furious mentality. These are their only cars.

Also, I don't understand your profile. There wasn't a 335is in 2008, and the IS model is coupe exclusive. Did you have the performance package added or something?

I agree mostly with what you say but what I find ironic is that you are stating that you drive a 2008 335is sedan. What's the deal with that?

I wouldn't either. But if I were making high 6 or 7 figures and wanted to keep the high life profile under wraps, I would do it just to get all the haters.

Because at the end of the day, the real cars are in the garage.

But really, I know a friend that works at a fortune 500 company who makes bank and drives a beat up civic to work. At the end of the day, keeping the low profile to the execs but living it up out of work.
