Where do you store your CDs?

Any of you guys get a visor cd holder that fits? Or any other ideas on places to store your CDs (other than a CD changer)?

I have a couple MP3 CDs and a Burn Nav DVD plus a MP3 DVD
so 5 disk all under the armrest

Doesn't everyone just use an iPod?

Just giving you a hard time. When I have CDs in my car, I just put them in the door pocket.

You cant crank up the volume using the Ipod, tahts why some of us mind having CDs too.

You can still use the volume control on the steering wheel. Just crank up the volume on the Ipod and then you can adjust the volume.

Sure you can, but you can't use the headphone jack output for that... you should buy an adapter that plugs into the base of the iPod that charges your iPod and at the same time bypass the volume limiting circuitry of the headphone jack.

And to answer the OP: why not store your CD's in the glove compartment?

Yes, you can play DVD audio in the car. But you have to remove the nav DVD to do so.

I keep my CDs in the glove box, and it's a PITA because the glove box is so small.

One thing I've found with this car is that you have to put everything somewhere because you want to corner so quickly. If you just put something on a seat, it will go flying off as you take a corner at twice the speed you would with another car.

No CD's for me any more. Ipod's just too convenient.

Why not? My Ipod make it seem as if New York Philharmonic is right in my back seat. Are you routing the sound at the line-level out, rather than the jack at the top?

Since I got my iPod I can't imagine going back to cd's when I'm on the move. I have a 40GB iPod and it has my whole music collection on it so when I'm in the car on on my travels or in the office I can listen to whatever I want.

When I used cd (I had a cd changer in my last car, and a portable cd player for travelling) I always ended up wanting to listen to a cd I didn't bring, but with the iPod that doesn't happen any more.

Back to the OP question, sorry no idea other than buying an iPod.
