Had my run flats replaced today

Evening all.

Had my hand forced a little yesterday as I managed to pick up a bolt right on the edge of my front drivers side run flat, gutted to say the least as I was meant to be picking up some replacements in 3 weeks time.. never the less I did some searching around this forum and the general opinion was ditch the run flats. So I logged on the event tyres (can't recommend them highly enough) and spoke to Mark, I am now the proud owner of some Falken 452's. I must say anyone unsure go for it, the car is like a different car alot smoother to drive.

+1

It's now been a few months since I changed and only wish I had done it earlier.

I have a Continental Comfort Kit, basically the same as an M Mobility system which is what was standard in my E46 M3.

What did your insurance say about getting rid of the run flats?

Why would you need to advise the insurance company of this?

Its a genuine question, I was thinking of doing the same when mine are ready for changing.

Can you get the tyre repaired after using the conti kit?
