New purchase. Pic included.

Only put 100 rounds through it today. Very pleased with the performance. Crappy iPhone pic.

Thanks.

Definitely, once I get used to it a bit more.

I carry a Glock 26 and compete with a 19C. I'm a certified Glock instructor and absolutely swear by them.

Excellent purchase! Glad that you enjoy it!

good choice, my daily carry as well. my favorites pistols in the world are 1911s, but i wouldnt trust my life with it. my glock gets the nod for that. forever dependable, and has never misfired once! 8000 rounds and counting.

Thanks man! Have you made any modifications to the 19C?

Great to hear. That definitely makes me feel even better about my decision.

I was also considering the Springfield Armory XD .45 Compact (4 inch barrel). That might be my next purchase but I just really liked the way the Glock felt in my hand.

Great pistol. Have owned two of them. Currently carry the G36 as my daily concealed. G21SF for duty. All with Trijies. I've owned a G27 and G33 but finally got rid of them. Can conceal a G23 just as easily with the proper holster.

I'm 53 days in to a 75 day lead time on my Raven Concealment holster for the G36. A buddy got one for his G21 w/ x300 - waiting on seeing it and I'll more than likely be dropping the hammer on one.

Enjoy it. Damn things will eat anything.

Right? ... I don't see the reason unless you A) Are out looking for trouble. B) Spend time in bad areas OR C) Some type of Law Enforcement that requires you to have one.

This right to bear arms BS is ridiculous. It was written when we were under constant fear of being invaded by other nations/ Native Americans / etc. Don't have to worry about that anymore, so whats the excuse? Not to mention, the statistics showing the amount of accidents compared to actual necessity.

Don't get me wrong, do whatever you please in your own home. GO hunting, enjoy the sport of shooting and what not. Just don't carry that shit in the supermarket while I am food shopping. It's unnecessary.

Smart move on the G23... it's so much easier finding ammo for .40 right now than 9mm/45acp.

...and to the posts above, I guess cops in your areas respond within a minute of an emergency to protect you. As for me, I'd rather deal with a life-threatening issue within seconds.

I am very sorry to hear you are faced with life-threatening issues often enough to necessitate the carrying of a fire-arm. My shop is in one of the worst areas in Brooklyn. Yet, I have never once considered carrying a gun. My employees have pulled knives and done all sorts of stupid shit to each other and my supervisors. But I repeat, I have never once considered carrying a gun.

I have a great respect for fire-arms, and I congratulate the OP on his purchase. It is a fine weapon. I am sorry to draw away from the main topic of this thread.
