100% in town, ALWAYS start on stop on this tank. Not going to do much better when it's 117 degrees and air conditioning on max. I live 3 miles from work and it's roughly 9 lights each way...18 stop lights total and 3 of them are over highways, so you almost always stop. I'm actually happy with 16.5...lol.

Plus, I have Dinan S2 and a heavy foot when I can...

Plus, looks like you have a 325i...335i with Dinan is different.

This was while driving on standard road...that's why it's blurry.

This TX heat has been brutal! I'm just wondering why it looks like you took this picture at night with your lights on at just after 5 pm??

Where in TX are you all at? The highest I've had yet this year was 104 reading in H-town. The highest ever I've seen in my E90 was like 110 a year ago. Thankfully I have a garage at home and a parking garage at work -- can't bare the idea of walking into a hot car in this TX heat.

I am in east Texas 100 miles N of Houston,we train horses so the car gets to stay in the garage most of the time (no commute) but anyone want to come unload a trailer of hay today with me??? just 200 bales of coastal to stack in the barn, better than when a 800 (approx) bale semi load of alfalfa comes in.

Last year in Seattle mine read 108 on the freeway, yes folks in Seattle.
Probably won't see that kinda temp for another 10 year, unless global warming is for real

I actually feel more sorry for those outside of TX. We have had a pretty mild summer. Others such as on the east coast (at least based on current news items) are experiencing the hottest on record.

In texas AC is just a given. Much less likely for places north of say Omaha.

The real negative for me is when its still 88 at 10 p.m.
That kind of sux for an evening drive.

Last year in the Austin area we had 68 days of 100 degrees or higher...thus far this summer, we've only had 2, and we actually had measurable rain in July - a rarity. August is typically our worst month, though, so I expect to see the 100-degree-plus days mounting quickly.

That's southern hospitality at its best ... hope ya enjoyed it. Of course you should really visit Houston, Austin, and Dallas and get a real big-city feeling.
