Rocker panel replacement
My passenger side rocker panel needs replacement. I've been quoted around 600 bucks for a single rocker panel. From what I understand it's easy to install OEM rocker panels and can possibly save the labor by ordering parts myself.
Where I do buy the painted rocker panel from ? I believe i need torx screws too. Does installation of a rocker panel involve any sort of drilling ? Just in case somebody gets confused: rocker panel = side skirt = long horizontal plastic panel below the door. I drive a 2006 330i. |

For that price you can probably get M-tech sides painted (both sides). They do not come painted from BMW so you would either need to get a body shop on your own to paint it, or buy them painted from a vendor (or buy used ones that happen to be in your color).
There shouldn't be any drilling involved if it's an OEM part.
