BMW Extends HPFP Failure Warranty to 10 years!
I got a great letter in the mail today from BMW announcing that they are owning up to the HPFP problem, and are extending my warranty to 10 years / 120K miles for this issue.
Pretty cool of them, eh?  |

Every time I hear about the 10 year warranty for the HPFP, I think of Tommy Boy:
"Guy puts a fancy guarantee on a box 'cause he wants you to feel all warm and toasty inside. Because they know all they solda ya was a guaranteed piece of shi*. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time." |

Got same letter in mail today. Only thing "new" about this is that the HPFP extended warranty now applies to the 2010 model-year 335i.
