Fuel Pump...

So my fuel pump finally died at 32k miles. Turned in the car to have the fuel pumped replaced. 6 Days later, i got my car back and notice 50 extra miles on the car! Is that normal test drive?

On the side note, it was interesting seeing how half the BMW tech's did not know how to drive stickshift

IMO, no it is not. Same thing happened to my grandmother when she took her mercedes in for service. They ended up taking it on a 200 mile joy ride. Needless to say she was furious....Call up your dealership and tell them to reimburse/credit you for mileage, gas, etc.
