LPFP longevity?

Now that BMW has found a way to save the life of HPFP by priming fuel more often, has anyone thought about the possibility of premature failure on LPFP? I found that almost every time I open a door, it's pumping fuel. Let the car sit for a few minutes, the mysterious whirring sound makes you think the car is possessed. And I won't be surprised if the LPFP works day and night while I am away from my car. Since BMW only extend the HPFP warranty, should we also demand that for the LPFP? (or better yet, the whole fuel system incl. injectors)

you have a point but it will be extremely hard to have any data that leads to your hypothesis. let alone having bmw honor it.
