2006 | 2007-2011 E90 Sport Steering Wheel Trim

I was looking at some pictures of E90 Sport Steering Wheel Trims and I was wondering, do only 2006 models (325i, 330i) come with the steering wheel without the metallic trim on the sides of the wheel? (First Picture) compared with the 2007-Present steering wheels with the Metallic Trim on the sides?

Pretty sure the latter is Sport, while the first wheel is just plain jane base.

I've got a 2006 330i and a 2008 335i and I confirm that only 2006 models (325i, 330i) come with the steering wheel without the metallic trim on the sides of the wheel? (First Picture). You'll also notice that the 2006 has black knobs for climate control and the radio while the later ones (after 2006) have silver knobs.

BTW, the first picture is definitely a sport package steering wheel.

I have the 1st steering wheel with ///M logo at the bottom. It comes with the M Sport Package now.
