My 1st Mods
They're small & they're not all that difficult...but I like em. It's all in the details IMO.
Matte black kidney grilles I got these from JLevi. They're $45 rather than the $100-$110 you find other places. The difference, I guess, is that these are unpainted. Doesn't bother me at all...at less than 1/2 the price these fit fine and look great. If they start to discolor then I'll just sand and paint them myself later on. Matte back 328i re-badge I got these from JLevi too...but I think they just buy them from Bimmian. Either way it worked out for me since I got everything from one place. So, there it is. I don't plan to do a whole lot, but some projects slated for the future are: 1. OEM Stainless steel 6MT pedals 2. OEM Blacklines 3. Staggered matte black or gunmetal 18" VMR V710s, or AG M310s (Probably next year some time due to wife aggro over the cost) 4. Once I get the permanent license plate, I'll replace the dealership frame with a simple matte black plate frame. 5. Haven't decided yet...but maybe a matte charcoal CF trim wrap as I'm not a fan of the interior wood grain trim. I've seen a lot of pics, but I want to see how a CF wrap looks IRL before I do it. 6. Some poly-filler and OEM touch up paint for the four front plate screw holes (four?!?!? Freaking heathens @ the dealership...you don't even have to have a front plate in AZ )...if that ends up looking shitty I guess I will drill them out and get bumper plugs, though I don't know how good that's going to look with 4.
