who has the most stripped e90?
inspired by the post below, just wondering, cause I had a 99 e46 323i with no options except cruise and moon roof, and I loved it! but at the same time, I am glad I ordered my e91 loaded, its nice to have the extras

e92 here with just metallic paint and sports package. if the coupe didn't come with xenons i would have opted for those. less cash, less weight, and less stuff I dont care to have.

Zero options on my 325 (although it comes with more standard equipment than US models).

No offense intended....but why do you folks want a car with no options? One could make an argument about weight issues/performance, but most people who have already posted didn't even take the larger engines offered....

My core option criteria when shopping for a car was: - folding rear seats - xenons - leather (leatherette good enough) - auto climate control - heated seats - auto dimming rearview It came standard with all that so it was good enough for me (along with lots of other good things).

just the zsp, and SG paint. I didn't want the premium package since i don't use 90% of the options. Cold weather package, I wasn't interested in. Although I do wish I got xenons. That was sorta a mistake, but it's not a big deal since my future mod will be the euro xenon lamps. Other than that...I'm fine. Bluetooth I may install later, but not in a big hurry. All i really wanted was the car, sport seats and the handling aspects of it. Everything else was non functional to me.

went from fully loaded e46 330i w/ cai/chip/exhaust upgrades to a fully stripped 06 325i (only one option - sport pkg). euro pickup. Sofar don't miss any of the addons. Just wish I had 30 more hp and it would be the perfect car. Couldn't justify the price diff at the time for the 330.

No point in buying navi because I rarely drive to destinations im not familiar with. I have had heated seats in other cars and never used it. On the E92 there isn't much else to get. Cold weather as everybody knows is worthless. It comes with xenons standard, rear folding seats. Then again I was going to buy an STI, so I just simply don't care about all that extra junk on a car. If I wanted tons of gadgets and gizmos I would have bought an IS350. The day I am able to afford an M car, I plan to option it out much the same. |

2007 328i (Canadian) with metallic, sport, and sunroof (They had the sunroof and didn't want to wait for one without - makes no difference to me).
I wanted the 07 323i, but it didn't have the xenons, folding rear seats, auto climate control, heated seats, and auto dimming rear view mirrors. They could be added but it would make the price of the 323i almost the same as the 328i. |

330 with Sport and Metallic
Thought about the Premium, but cant justify playing extra 3 grand for leather seat, folding mirrors, lumbar and side auto dim mirrors with folding.... Otherwise, the 330 comes with pretty much with what i wanted from the e46 325 i had previously...

I simply wish we had the optioning system most other countries have when ordering their cars (though they can keep their prices ).
A jet black 335i M-sport with just xenons would be a Godsend. |
