GT2 RS or 458 Italia?
I was just curious what you guys would choose given the chance. Price is about the same. For me, it would have to be GT2 RS - Not that I am be in a position to make this decision for real.

Italia. Not because it's so much better than the GT2, but Ferrari is one of the few brands I have yet to own.

Ferrari, as long as they fix the engine fire issue.

GT2 RS, it's a beast, however if you want a Porsche that sounds like nothing else you gotta get one of these, Ruf RGT-8
![]() ![]() ![]() Sounded like a ferrari, that's what you get with a flat plane crank. It wouldn't surprise me if Porsche aren't looking at this car, I doubt many though it possible to fit a V8 in a 911, now it's been done it opens the door for higher performance 911's. Putting a V8 back there would skew distribution though, no?

A while back I would have said 458 but I look back on older Ferrari's (80's and 90's) and their "high volume" cars (348, 355, 360) just don't do it for me 10-15 years after they were introduced. The F40 and Enzo will always do it for me but the GT2 RS is something that I see being somewhat of a living legend as long as you own it. I can totally see how the sound and prancing horse heritage would be a huge swaying factor though.

Italia but not by much. That probably will change once the Scuderia/Challenge Stradale variant of it comes out

Italia.. because if I'm paying that much money a Ferarri turns way more heads than a Porsche (excluding the Carrera GT)
