If the Girl Friend puts her split on the arm rest you get it to be slipping and sliding for nothing

Yes it was a £200 option, I have it on mine and its well worth having.
But retrofit? Maybe it'll cost even more!

A leather one is about £190, fake leather one about £115. The handbrake gaiter is fake leather even when you have real leather elsewhere so that will give you an idea of the appearance/quality.

It's a doddle to fit except for getting the spring back in. If you do without the spring (like I did) the only change is that the armrest won't lie half open by itself.

Earlier models of E9x didn't have the spring anyway.

The factory option price is about £95 if I recal,

So the parts price will be more of course.

Faux leather will be a bad move....

I was thinking only today how Id like this option, but for £300 they can whistle.
